Bug Fixes and Optimizations (v0.0.32)


In this release, AI bug fixes and performance optimizations were completed.

  • Optimized vehicle deformation memory usage.
  • Improved reliability of vehicle explosions showing in player field of view.
  • Avoid traffic accelerating too fast when getting unstuck in the middle of a turn.
  • Red light violations now trigger on exit from intersection instead of entry.  This also allows not triggering for right turn on red if player slows down nearly to a stop before turning.
  • Fixed traffic avoidance issue of sometimes thinking vehicles going opposite direction behind them were a threat.
  • Fixed traffic blocking intersection on left turn if decided that an oncoming vehicle was a threat mid turn.
  • Reduced chance of two left turning vehicles at intersection colliding with each other by having one turn first.
  • Optimized traffic AI performance.
